Iron, steel and aluminium castings · Reply within hours
Sand casting for housings, bodies and machine parts.
Sand casting is the most flexible way to make metal parts, from small batches to large, heavy parts. We source sand castings in iron, steel and aluminium and deliver them machined, painted and ready to fit.
- Grey and ductile iron, steel, aluminium
- Low tooling cost
- Machined and painted
When to use it
When sand casting is the right choice
Sand casting suits a wide range of sizes and quantities.
Large and heavy parts
Housings, frames, bases and bodies that are too large for other casting methods.
Low tooling cost
Patterns cost much less than die-casting tools, so small batches are affordable.
Iron and steel
Grey and ductile iron and cast steel for strength and damping.
Aluminium
Aluminium sand castings for lighter parts and prototypes.
Typical parts
Pump and valve bodies, gearbox housings, machine bases, brackets and manifolds.
Machining and coating
We deliver castings machined, pressure tested and painted.
Where we make it
Choosing the right foundry location
We recommend a location per part.
India
Large foundry base and competitive prices for iron and steel castings.
Turkey and Poland
Close to the EU, with shorter lead times.
China
Large series and combined casting and machining.

FAQ
Sand casting questions
Not answered here? Ask us directly. We reply within a few hours.
Ask a questionWhat is the difference between grey and ductile iron?
Grey iron is easy to machine and dampens vibration well. Ductile iron is stronger and less brittle. We help you choose if your drawing allows both.
Is sand casting suitable for small quantities?
Yes. Because pattern costs are low, sand casting suits small batches as well as series production.
Do you deliver machined castings?
Yes. We deliver castings machined, pressure tested where needed, and painted to your specification.
What documents do I get?
Material certificates, dimensional reports and, on request, non-destructive testing reports.
Can you take over an existing pattern?
Often, yes. Send us details and photos of the pattern and we check whether a new foundry can use it.
