Steel forgings · Reply within hours, first quote within 24 hours
Metal forging strong parts, machined to drawing.
Forged parts are stronger and tougher than cast or machined ones, which makes forging the choice for parts under high load. We source closed-die and open-die forgings in carbon and alloy steels, with heat treatment and machining.

When to use it
When forging is the right choice
Forging is used where strength and reliability matter most.
High strength
The grain flow follows the shape of the part, giving strength and fatigue resistance.
Closed-die forging
Accurate parts in series, such as flanges, shafts, gears, levers and fittings.
Open-die forging
Larger shafts, rings and blocks in smaller quantities.
Heat treatment
Quenching, tempering and normalising to reach the required properties.
Machining
Turned, milled and drilled to final dimensions.
Typical uses
Machinery, oil and gas, automotive, agriculture and rail.
Where we make it
Choosing the right forging location
We recommend a location per part.
India
Large forging industry with competitive prices for steel forgings.
Turkey and Italy
Close to the EU, with experienced suppliers for automotive and machinery.
China
Large series and combined forging and machining.

FAQ
Metal forging questions
Not answered here? Ask us directly. We reply within a few hours.
Ask a questionWhat is the difference between closed-die and open-die forging?
Closed-die forging presses metal into shaped dies and suits accurate parts in series. Open-die forging shapes metal between flat or simple dies and suits larger parts in smaller quantities.
Which steels can be forged?
Most carbon and alloy steels, and stainless steels by agreement. Send your specification and we find a suitable supplier.
Do you deliver machined forgings?
Yes. We deliver forgings heat treated and machined to your drawing.
What documents do I get?
Material certificates, heat treatment records, dimensional reports and, on request, non-destructive testing.
Is there a minimum quantity?
Closed-die forging needs a die, so it usually suits series. Open-die forging works for small quantities.
